Welcome to my first entry of what will be a travel photoblog within my posts.
The first one is a two post series for my three-day trip to the quiet town of Àger, in the heart of La Noguera (Catalonia). Here I’ll show you my landscape photos and some vegetation details I took across the mountains and walking routes.
Driving from Àger to the peak of Coll d’Ares I spotted a good place to take some landscapes of the Vall d’Àger (the plain within two mountain ranges of the Montsec mountains). And so I took that view from the town of Àger, it’s cereal fields and the southern mountains.
In the peak of Coll d’Ares there is the place where paragliders took off, and I spotted one during its flight:
Next day, in the morning, I went for a walk and took some vegetation details and a view of the town of Àger:
And in the afternoon I took a short car trip to Corçà to walk to the Ermita de la Mare de Déu de la Pertussa. Nice views but the walk is hard:
And finally, to end the second day and my first post of that short but intense journey, I went to the middle of the fields to get some nice landscapes.
That’s all for the fist post. Stay tuned for the last day, when I went to a hide to take some birds of prey / raptors. Well, mainly vultures.
