A quiet guest with perfect timing

It was a hot summer evening in Agrigento, and we were slowly making our way through the quiet streets. The light had that warm, golden tone that makes everything feel a little slower, a little softer. Out of nowhere, this cat strolled past us—no rush, no hesitation, just pure confidence.
What caught my eye was how perfectly she lined up with the sign pointing to “Foresteria Monastica – Santo Spirito.” It looked like she was following it on purpose, like she had her own room waiting. There was something so calm and intentional about the way she walked that I couldn’t help but raise the camera and take the shot.
It all happened in a second, but the timing felt just right. The light, the shadows on the stone, the curve of the tail mid-step—it all came together naturally. I’m pretty sure this little walk is just part of her daily routine, but for me, it was a fleeting, funny little moment that felt worth keeping.
